Manuscript, in a single hand, of a letter addressed to Alexander Dow expressing gentle criticism concerning Dow's play, Zingis. The letter declares, "I have consider'd the 5 Acts of your tragedy, & think it much very much improv'd by yr alterations: I cannot at the same time help saying that I think there are still some things to be done necessary to produce that full effect which I should imagine to be the desire of Every author." The letter is accompanied by a manuscript of Dow's verse tragedy, Sethona.
